I am a holder of a Cypriot passport, to which countries can I travel to without a visa?

Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality. The only reliable source of visa information is a consulate of the country you're planning to visit.

In general travellers with a Cypriot nationality can travel to all countries in Europe without a visa. Alternatively you can contact one of our travel advisors for assistance.

What should I pack for my trip?

In addition to your personal belongings, credit cards and foreigh cash that you'd usually bring on any trip, here are some things you might want to bring when travelling to a foreign country:

plug converter and/or transformer if bringing electric appliances
    passport, and photocopy kept separately
plane and train tickets, and photocopy kept separately
    train and hotel reservations
    health insurance policy
    vaccination certificate
international driver's licence, as well as your national licence
numbers to call if credit card or travellers' cheques are stolen
    telephone company calling card

You can also consider taking some travellers' cheques but their usefulness depends on your destination.

Should I take local currency with me or change money once I arrive?

It can be useful to obtain a small amount of the local currency (perhaps €50 to € per traveller) before you leave. Most airports now have cash machines, and it's doubtful whether any major airport doesn't have one, so you can withdraw more money once you arrive.

Will I need vaccinations for my trip?

It is recommended for various countries that vaccinations are carried out prior to travelling. Your own Doctor would be the best to advise you with up to date advice about vaccinations. Alternatively you can contact one of our travel advisors for assistance.
